Yeah, really... RTFM
Reaktor is not the sort of thing you will learn by getting a few tips on a MB. Not menaing to be harsh, but this is the equivalent of saying "Can someone here teach me CSound" and expect someone to be able to comprehensively train you in a few dozen lines.
All that said, here's my 5 point guide: 1.read the manual, 2.play with the examples, 3. realise that unless you're prepared to spend more time on it than you would learning a normal instrument or you at least know a hell of a lot about synthesis already, you will never make a patch anywhere near the quality of the ones provided.
4.Stick to using the examples. 5.When you get the hankering for custom modular synths, use Vaz modular instead.

Ambsace, absynth is a fisher price toy in terms of ease of use in comparison to reaktor! (although bear in mind I've only used reaktor 3 extensively and reaktor 4 is meant to be a lot more user friendly)

well I want a program with which one can create one's own synths.. I hate those cheesy "pads" that come wiht most programs.. it's like all the work is done for you already.. I'll be able to learn these programs and use them well.. but is this the best program for this purpose? what other purposes is this program good for? is logic good too?
here, what do you use the following programs for, or what can they be good for:
Cubase SX Logic Reaktor
I'm months away from a contract so I'll need to be in top condition ;
please answer as many of these questions as you can.. your responses will be very informative!!

Logic and Cubase are sequencers and aren't designed to build your own synths with.
Reaktor is a program designed to build your own synths, sequencers and FX. You can do this by connecting "modules" (virtual boxes which represent the bits and pieces that are in a device) and macros (several properly wires modules to make things easier) to eachother.
(very!)simple instrument: connect a pitch module to the "P" input of an oscillator and a gate module to the "A" input of an oscillator. Connect the output of the oscillator to the audio out, turn on the engine(num pad 0 I believe) and play
