boogiepop phantom was good too. but it ripped off lain :S

berserk, cowboy bebop, evangelion, and 3x3 eyes are great
series. as for movies.. i recently saw jin-roh and quite
enjoyed that. but princess mononoke and ghost in the shell
take the cake.

Akira, Gundam Wing, Princess Mononoke, Escaflowne, Cowboy
Bebop, Ninja Scroll, Yotoden, Ghost in the Shell.

I liked the trippy ass characters in Spirited Away but
didn't really enjoy the disney-style happy ending.

i have some of the graphic novels... and the movie doesnt
betray them... same look and feel... however the graphic
novels explore the more wierder / demented stuff... while
the movie cant in just an hour and a bit, but its amazing
nonetheless

i wanna see akira

:(

i remember years ago, when i was like 11 or something,
channel 4 was showing this, but it was on at about 11pm, and
at age 11 i used to get tired at about 9pm

i saw a glimpse of it.......i think some kid had a big
fuck-off gun or something, it looked cool

i really wanna see it all though :(

the only anime i've seen is the Animatrix, i bought the DVD

i was REALLY impressed with the artistic techniques used in
those

"is it available on DVD?"

"where from?"
"is it cheap?"

if you get it from play.com its £14.99 (free postage),
thats probably the cheapest you'll find it. Remember its a
TV series, only VOL 1 is out now. I think it will be 3-4
Volumes as its a 12 episode series.

"am i being annoying with all the questions?"

not at all :)

do i need to shave?

yes

i don't watch much anime. i've never really gotten into it.
i guess i only really liked Vampire Hunter D
akira
Spirited Away.

i saw ninja scroll a while back and actually didn't really
like it at all. i guess i just don't get why everyone likes
it so much.
