A GOOD RECORDLABEL! :D

linky

We're a record label. But we're not evil.

We call it "try before you buy." It's the shareware model
applied to music.
Listen to hundreds of MP3'd albums from our artists. Or try
our genre-based radio stations.

If you like what you hear, buy our music online for as
little as $5 an album or license our music for commercial
use.

Artists get a full 50% of the purchase price. And unlike
most record labels, our artists keep their rights to their
music.
Founded by musicians, for musicians.

No major label connections.

We are not evil.

who cares...if you read the rules you can sign with them
freely, and still promote your music with other label's or
by your self.

they will try promoting your music for video-games,
soundtracks etc. which will give you mucho promotion!!!

sounds like rephlex, warp , ninja etc - + the artists are
given the option to make money of their backcatalogue thru
publishing -
this is nothing new - it's like all independent labels - +
the music on the label is shit

i've used the music shareware model for years as i'm sure we
all have. it's called downloading for free from p2p or
whatever and then buying it if it's decent.

and too little time to listen to it all

btw, the link posted by Junktion is from 2003, when there
wasn't much accessibility to trackers and rapidshare neither
existed so the concept itself is good, especially if you're
looking for exotic stuff..
