damn.....i had not heard this album in a month. it is
fecking brilliant, always said it was...always say it will
be. despide fools that think it sucks i find it
groundbreaking....the piano parts are essential to fully
appreciate the faster tracks........and those tracks are
fecking gems.

there.

I also share your love for this album as a whole, I wouldn't
have it any other way

i agree that this album is fantastic... but it pisses me off
the way people respond to the piano tracks... :

1) Just because Erik Satie, and John Cage have done them
before... doesn't mean that they are shitty rehashes that
are pointless (fuck you pitchfork! if you can't stand that,
then how the fuck can you stand listening to rock artists
"rehash" rock all their fucking careers?!)

2) the piano tracks are not there to space out the drill
tracks, to give us a breather... they are there to be heard,
because they are beautiful, and intricate... glacial
expressions... serving to evoke a duality which manifests
itself in more ways than one through out the album....

i love the tracks "gwely mernans" and "gwarek 2"...they're
so damn creepy. and there's fucking killer drum madness all
over the record. and who can deny the sweetness of "avril
14th"?

i don't care what the critics said either, this album rocks,
even if only for sheer technical genius.

you cant deny there's a correlation between avril 14th and
moutsaintmichel+saintmichaelmount, though i listen to some
paino tracks separately like no1 and no14 and no15, you cant
just listen to no9 and not no10 after, you cant!

i also liked drukqs - rich has done better, but some of the
tracks on there are just fucking mindblowing. i can still
listen to 54 cymru beats and vordhosbn on a regular basis.
