Well...im not updating it for that, more my musical
requirments and for games too.

Luckily i can now play Doom 3 at optimal speed and i will be
able to play Half Life 2 at a very good speed :)

I'm snug in the middle there.

I'm between middle and optimal, so probably not. I'd rather
spend my money on shit to make music, like an amp for my
synth/bass, an Audigy 2 Platinum Pro, etc.

And let it be known that Half Life 2 is going to be much
better that Doom ]|[ anyway.

I knew this thread would be about Doom 3 just from "r u
going to upgrade..."

:D

I won't, I'm not bothered about the game. My mate is a total
freak for these games though and he is already updating bit
by bit. He does it every time a new gaming benchmark comes
along, nutcase.

I've only got 1 ghz... but I won't upgrade.
I am looking forward to the game, and will probably play it
at some friend's house.

No chance. Computer games are a seriously unproductive waste
of time.

Well I can already play it at the lowest setting so I'll be
fine.

I have a PIII 850, GeForce4 thingy, 384 RAM so I can play
it. If you'd asked me a couple of months ao then I'd have
said yes for sure. Now though I can't be arsed to. I don't
play games as much anymore and when I'm on the computer I
prefer to be making music. I'd upgrade for my music though.
Yep, yep, yep. Besides, I have better things to spend my
money on really. Well better to me anyway. Music music music
