I always wondered about stuff like that. The stuff that is
made but lost to time. I've made some intersting sounds in
music programs only to have them shut down, the same in
graphics programs. I wonder how much amazing things we've
lost like this....

I have been getting to grips with Renoise which has a habit
of crashing on me every so often...then low and behold I
realised it actually saves a copy in a directory of the
crashed file :D

ive had trouble with every program

mostly with fruity loops, cubase, reaktor, max/msp, kontakt,
modular system, dcota, and well just about everything.

I've made my best stuff and lost it to crashes. Even when
i've saved it's managed to corrupt it or something.

I like em. Not the most amazing thing i've ever heard, but
theres a few brilliant tunes in there like 'Jungle Bunny' &
'Million & One Style'

amen andrews 1 and 2 are ok. 3 is great. 4 is dissapointing.
instead get the remarc thingy on planet mu which is in the
same vein but is a 3x12" and is better.

I still begrudge losing the only copy of my best
"commercial" track that even my mates who don't like IDM
liked in a HD swap.

yeah, im definately getting that, plus the soundmurderer
album and single on rephlex.

the remarc album is a compilation of old tunes from "back in
the day", but he has another album on mu coming up, which i
think may be new stuff!

my old dear lost the novel she'd been writing for a year by
spilling coffee on her laptop.

the hard drive was fucked, she paid 400 quid and this
company used some forensic shit to repair the drive and
extract the data, the hard drive was then useless, but she
got it back.

perhaps you should do that if those breaks are that good. ;

theey're amazijg you lot don't listen well - the remarc is
ok but i've got most of the tracks and he's missed off some
great ones like the bonus ricky remix on the remix 12" with
the green label - heavy as fuck
amen andrews is a reinvention of the past rather than just
being the past

to sleep 6 hours.
