...that is full of nature sounds. Just some good wholesome ambience that takes you to a forest, or a mountain, or a river... The more soothing and relaxing, the better.

you can go to the Nature Company, and get those CDs of streams and birds and stuff
or go to sleep outside with a microphone and tape deck.

most people can't seem to stand foil (track one on amber)...but that's the track that got me on to autechre. i even made a four minute short film about a guy in a launderette set to that music. (the idea was just supposed to be the most boring thing you'd ever sat through...like being at the lauderette...but the film festival i submitted to in SLC hated it. and they all gave me shitty reviews. told me bullshit like "it wasn't weird enough." what the fuck does that mean? i'm still very bitter about that whole thing...)

Don't worry. Film judges are assholes.
If you like the track, and your short film, it's good!

Schpongle - are you schpongled?
It's quite intense music, actually, but if you want to feel like you're lost in the rainforest, chased by cannibals, tis is the album you need!

I had to burn an album full of ambient stream/ocean/bird/nature noises for my stressed out aunt a while back. It made me want to pee.

Model 500, 'Sonic Sunset' has a natural title and is full of totally natural Korg MS-10 sounds along with Yamaha DX100 basses. Great album.

I will be trying my best to download all these and listen to them at some point. Right now I have only 1 harddrive and an exposed motherboard with a makeshift fan blowing on it so it doesn't overheat and die.

damn you beat me to it. :D
i heard some guy in one of my theater productions playing this cd once called "Land of the Loon" or something like that - classical style instrumentals with lots of nature noises - it was a bit new-agey though.
