Look at that delicious "Del msg" - can't we Norms have that
button, even if it doesn't work for us? Like a little dummy
button, so we think we have some power? :)

what is it?

warnings before you get perm. banned if you push the
boundaries too far?

Who gives warnings? If it's mods/admin then I'm not so
bothered. If it's exactly like AIM, with other users warning
each other, it's a shite idea.

This warning feature makes me think of such a karma thing
some forums have.

watmm)

I laugh in the face of warnings, but I don't laugh in the
face of bans.

It's no big difference from what we use today. After like
three warnings the user is permanently banned. But the
warnings are resetted each three months or something. So
when a user has been warned he'll cool down to avoid a
permanent ban. (Only mods are able to warn of course.)

The concept will be implemented in future versions of the
messageboard. We have not agreed about the details yet...
but it'll be easier for mods to view a users previous
behaviour since warnings are being logged along with a small
note.

haha

i like the idea, but you'll get people who try to "push the
envelope"

it will be up to the mods to recognize this and perm ban
them for crap like that.
