Plato.

not a very good recordstore, but the people who work there
are nice. my brother and another guy who organises nights
are trying to get in more irregular stuff.

in fact, the other guy, Moos, could be interested in getting
you over here. he booked Phoenecia about a year ago.

The album I bought from funckarma doesn't even compare to
crunch1, marion, 8000 bc. I listened to it only once. I
can't even remember the name of it.

progress bar is now the 23rd (NOT 9th or 25th as prev
posted) ... yeah funckarma have done 2 bits for colony which
are (in my opinion) some of the best stuff i've heard ...
they have recorded as quench/cenik/funckarma/cane loads go
to www.funckarma.com for info ... yeah it was molos who got
us over last time for contex 7 ... really nice guys ...
martin and him really sorted us out ; ) hope to be back soon
...

saw tipper / andrea parker / a.weatherall / stormfield at
the egg (london) last nite, fat, was the first time i been
there (it was a haywire night) and it rocked ... cool venue

yeah w M w you are thinkin of funkstorung (well .5 of
funkstorung michael fakesh's album) not funckarma ...
funckarma are on DUB / Delikatessen / U-Cover with
upcomings on Warp / colony / Skam ... Badboys ... Although
Funkstorung do own MusikAusStrom (who released C1) and are
on K7 and have done some of the best remixes
(wu-tang/bjork/crunch ; ) i've heard ... That marion is old
now tho ... The new stuff is more hiphop, fatter ... Chris
de Luca (the other .5 of funkstorung) does some hiphop stuff
as well. App they are just recording the new album now ...

MARS AUGUST IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE COLONY SCHEDULE ; )

Never again in your lifetime will the Red Planet be so
spectacular.

This month and next, Earth is catching up with Mars, an
encounter that will culminate in the closest approach
between the two planets in recorded history. The next time
Mars may come this close is in 2287.

Due to the way Jupiter's gravity tugs on Mars and perturbs
its orbit, astronomers can only be certain that Mars has not
come this close to Earth in the last 5,000 years but it may
be as long as 60,000 years.

The encounter will culminate on August 27th when Mars comes
to within 34,649,589 miles and will be (next to the moon)
the brightest object in the night sky. It will attain a
magnitude of -2.9 and will appear 25.11 arc seconds wide. At
a modest 75-power magnification Mars will look as large as
the full moon to the naked eye.

Mars will be easy to spot. At the beginning of August Mars
will rise in the east at 10 p.m. and reach its azimuth at
about 3 a.m. But by the end of August when the two planets
are closest, Mars will rise at nightfall and reach its
highest point in the sky at 12:30 a.m. That's pretty
convenient when it comes to seeing something that no human
has seen in recorded history.

So mark your calendar at the beginning of August to see Mars
grow progressively brighter and brighter throughout the
month. Share with your children and grandchildren.  No one
alive today will ever see this again.
