if you enjoyed the o9 tracks on schematic comps "lily of
the valley" and "house of distraction," or maybe the 7" on
planet µ, or if you're a little more underground the
"tacklebox" ep or others, there will finally be a full
length o9 album out on schematic in 2003, release date TBA.

The song on the planet mu compilation was very nice.

the track from "lily of the valley" (seven milliseconds) is
somewhat like afx's gentler electropop moments with bubbly
melodies and gentle breaks.

the track from "house of distraction" (happy bot) is an
upbeat robot arpeggio that winds up and down with sweet
melodies .

the track "no delay for days" was the a-side to a 7" on
planet µ, and appeared on the comp. it's downtempo with a
sad melody.

"tacklebox" was a lot simpler, with hypnotic rhythms and
some blasts of noise, and a remix by otto von schirach
(whose work i don't like).

there are a lot of mp3's available, also, but they're older
and the quality wasn't all there yet.

o9 is one of those artists with such a natural, flowing
sound he makes what he does so well sound easy. the
relatively few tracks of his that i've heard are so good i'd
say i'm anticipating this first album release more than
anything that's come out for some time.

I'd also be thrilled to hear news of an album from that
artist "Kettel" who also appeared on the Planet Mu Cosmic
Forces comp. The song was "Buxom Berceuse" I think -- pure
bliss! ;D

"buxom berceuse" is the best track i've heard from kettel.
he's got a couple albums out now on neo ouija and kracfive,
and several 12"s.
