Favourite music from the board...

As some of you will know I try to listen to everything that
is posted up on the board. A lot of it is average, some
poor and some good. Most of it falls into the average
category to me.

Having said that there is one track that in all my time here
has stood out and it is right up there with my favourites
from established label artists...that track is called
Combine 44x by Aoens who I beleive is known as
MC_303_beatz.

Does anyone know if this an original track or a remix of
something else?

Anyway, what are your favourites?

Well, with a slow-as-freshly-liad-shit Internet connecton, I
only get to hear dribs and drabs of what there is on offer.
pomme de terre is the only guy I can say I've been
consistantly impressed with, like his style.

well, ive kind of been falling behind with listening to xlt
peoples music... its harder on here, because topics can fall
off the page quicker... i like how watmm has a seperate
section, and topics stay around a bit more there, since its
a dedicated forum, and I can sign on on the weekend, and be
like, ok im gonna listen to music now.

here, it goes by so quick...

my favs on here, from what ive heard, have always been OD,
and Flea, (but flea is gone :'(

Knobject - Optic Drill
Phizmiz - Vordhosbn remix
Orange Dust - What is intelligence anyway?

and yes Aoens is good too.

Nah not just one track...it is only one track that I have
found that makes my playlist almost every day...you can
choose as many or as little as you like.

My own music also makes my playlist each day, but I only
started making music about 4 months ago so I am still
learning. :P

I dunno because there's actually quite alot good stuff on
here.

Here's a few:
Ochre
Xanpha
Dirqual
Those are the only names i can think of right now but there
is more.

Btw I love the music i write because it's the way i want it
to be, so therefore it's understandable that people like the
music they write more because it's a personal thing.

i really enjoy the stuff by marlowe under the name 'paul f
savage orchestra'. i'm suprised nobody has said anything
about it yet. also, not trying to whore my own webpage or
anything, but i did put up this page for the purpose of
a quick reference to many of the xltronic artists. i also
put it up so it would be a good reference for anyone else.
so...um yeah. paul f savage orchestra!

this 11 or 12 minute track, I can't remember the title, all
my mp3s got wasted when my computer crashed...

i do like global goon, and µ-ziq's lunatic
harness/braceyourself phase (haven't hear bilious paths)

otherwise some of the best tracks i've heard from people
here are:

morgonljus i skogen by aphex acid

gluoinellitiness and black book by q4z2x

3ee ep, track one by manticore

and tibbar's (who abandoned the board recently) tta remix
was very nice.

i still hope to check out more tracks from people i haven't
heard yet.

dirqual, or whatever neurowanker's name is - his tracks kick
the proverbial posterior. Also, I like my-little-sister's
tracks a lot. Nexus' stuff has been steadily improving, as
has mccabe's and Lee's. jAroen's is good, also. I haven't
heard that much new stuff from the board lately - I had
intended to start a thread asking people to link to their
latest stuff.

fleetmouse has written some wicked shit, as has tibbar.
fleets spends a lot of time on his stuff, and tibbar has a
good ear for unique noise. junktion writes some great
melodic work. freshspray (raimons) has some great 80s style
material with good form.

i try to listen to everything here, but i have a dial-up
connection, and it's tough for me to hear a song all the way
through very often.
