okay, so there's a lot of off topic-ness on this board lately, (i know i'm a part of it like many others)..but the problem is, you might want to tell somebody on here something, it might be a off topic/chatty or whatever, and you don't want to look like a weirdo by just adding them to your im list without really knowing them all that well first..so you just post the stupid thing that you wanted to say, and pretty soon everyone does it and the whole board becomes mindless off topic chatter. it would be nice if everyone would just post all of their im contact info into this thread, and then add everyone else who puts their contact info in this thread to your list, that way when you are reading the board here, and you want to tell someone something but don't think it's worthy of posting here because it would be wasting space/bandwidth etc., you can look at your list(s) of contacts and see everyone that's online at xltronic, that's participating in this, and just tell them what you wanted to on the im client instead. i think there is a reason for this thread because no one wants to go around looking at everyone's profiles and adding everyone to their lists, just to have them all ask: "who are you, why did you add me to your list, i don't want you on it.. etc" so everyone who wants to participate should post just their contact info for aim, msnm, icq, etc.. on this thread, and then add everyone else who does the same, so we'll all have a nice little chatting community, without misusing this message board. me: msmn: q4z2x@hotmail.com icq: 72236491 aim: reversesurgery anyone else just tell your info and everyone else will add you.. |

yeah, we all know that we can email each other and whatnot if it's something important.. but i mean, if you want to say some stupid chatty comment to someone, or flame someone, why not do it over an im client, but the fact is, not everyone is going to add each other to their lists unless they know the other person won't care..which they don't unless they say so in thread such as this one.. most likely they'll just think "screw it" and end up saying the stupid chatty or flamey thing to the other person over the board instead.. |

I never use msn... i usually just start writing emails and browsing xltronic, and simply forget to turn on the msn messenger :-p I think JAroen added me a long time ago, he'll confirm how i'm never actually online. We talked exactly zero times on there ;-) Besides, i usually quite enjoy the offtopic chatty topics on this board. |

Besides, i usually quite enjoy the offtopic chatty topics on this board. i agree with you somewhat, i mean some is very intesting but there's a point where, i mean, what right do we have to waste other people's money to post nonsense..back and forth between two people.. i feel bad about it sometimes.. |
