Been a bit of stragner recently.... But we're back...(in the words of LFO..:)... I won't horrify you all with all the dentist hell I've been going thru...last extraction this Friday.... And then hopefully, it's bridgework...I've got no fucking front teeth at moment so eating etc is a dream.... Lay off the hard drugs kids...Don't end up in the dark place I've been thru.... Great to see the board still going so strong BTW.... |

The real weird thing about getting my mouth sorted is that it's really fucked with my ability to communicate....even on messageboards where voice doesn't matter I simply haven't felt like it.... yep....the guy had a lot of problems as most were real broken and he had to use all these medieval tools just to get at them... Split the sides of my mouth as well...:(... Yesterday was the first day in ages I didn't wake up in bad pain...Fridays gonna be hard but it is the last & the valium means I really don't give a fuck what he's up to....plus it erases memory so most of the visits are like being in a dream... Hehe...I'm living up to the big image of the English having real bad teeth.... |

Current count of the extraction is 12... Gulp..... Looks after your teeth, kids...I really wouldn't want anyone to go thru this shit....not just the pain, lack of teeth etc...but the sheer psycological trauma of it all.... Still gonna be a little bit of stranger but give me a couple of weeks and I'll be back to the old jand of old.... ps...I missed you lot....hhe...getting all sloppy now...:).. |

Speed/Methamphetamine is the big teeth rotter...and yep, E's...(I used to neck em like there was no tommorrow...)...that jaw chewing ust turns your teeth to powder, especially if your teeth were weak to start with....(mine were as I had a real bad motorbike accident as a teenager and scraped my teeth along a road at 30mph....OUCH!!!...so glad I was uncounsious....)... Plus 5 yrs of Methodone...(Heroin subsitue...so much sugar in that as raw it's impossible to stomach..)... But I'm clean now....:).... Hope I don't stumble in the future but one day at a time and all that....we'll see.... |

Yay he's back!!! Praise JAH!! You have been missed my man. I have been enjoying your excelent site alot lately , lots of usefull information and fun reads . Sorry to hear about your teeths , i can't even begin to imagine the pain and trauma. It must have been a bit of a financial pain too am i right ? I don't know about the UK but in sweden going to the dentist is so expensive it is really becomming a class isue if you have good teth or not. I haven't been there in ages =( Great to hear your of the hard drugs tho =) You have a very intelligent mind and a generous and kind personality Jand , i would hate too see it go down the toilet. This dental problem will perhaps help you remembering the downside of it all when you feel the urge. |

Speaking of teeth , wouldn't it be cool to replace all your shitty human teeths with super sharp titanium ones ? =) I have always wanted that , even since i was a kid (reading marvel comics learned me alot about fictive and non fictive super hard metals like admantium and titanium ) It would be hella expensive but worth it , you would only brush them to prevent bad breath and nothing else. It would smooth out the digestion process too cause the chewing would be super effective. And perhaps you could tune in on these underground radio stations when standing at high places =) One problem tho , recently scientists have been linking teeth loss and brain dementia together. The nerves in your teeth provides a stimulation for your brain that is more important then previously known. Its only ONE side of the cause to dementia but still. These new super teeth would need some serious surgery so you can keep your old nerves (and a clear mind). |

Imagine if you bit your tongue with them, ouch! It is about time they made some sort of automated teeth care thng. Perhaps keep the teeth as they are, but a very think titanium coating on them... I've got the dentist in a few weeks. It's really annoying, I clean my teeth religiously, drink water after any sugary drinks etc, but still my teeth stain easily. I can take any pain he'll dish out, not sure my wallet can though :) |

I heard that problems with teeth have alot to do with the quality of your saliva. I take care of my teeths really good but still i have a hoole or atleast the begining of a hoole Every Fucking Time i go to the D man!! And i got alot friends that are nearly 30 and they have never felt the drill in their mouth. They got really good saliva that kills all the bacteria , sort of like cats and other amazing animals. Lucky bastards!! Then there's the essential difference if you got a good dentist or not. My last dentist used the drill so much that if i would still use him i would have no teeth left plus he couldn't work the anestetic (sp?) needle , he would hit me like six to nine times with that thing and i still felt pain. My new guy , this funky arabian guy with a name impossible to pronounce uses the needle ONE time and thats it. He knows excactly where to put it. (hmm that sounded a bit homo erotic ...ehm) He can as medieval as he wants in there and im nearly falling asleep in the comfy chair hehe! Plus the nurse is really hot and she put her boobs on my chest when leaning forward to assist hehe! Im always scared that i will get an erection hahahaha! That would be the hight of awkwardness!!! Jesus im rambling today ? sorry... |

i got to get to that denitst man. i hate mine and he really wrecks me every time. i havent been there for over a year now. i always had fear of dentists but he wasnt able to chnage it. it got worse every time i been there. the last time i was there to have my teeth protected with stuff. i immedeatly after ran away before the doc could check me... and the assistants suck (in a bad way) one let hot gold fall on my lip once... anyway heyho jand JANd is DA MAN! |
