Can anyone tell me what ALBUM this is of Ed Rush and Optical I DL'd it last night but only 10 tracks and I only have the names. 1)Why 2)Hacksaw 3)Built 4)32-8 5)Heads will roll 6)Get ill 7)Puerto Rico 8)Goodfoot 9)Hammerhead 10)Smarty pants OR is this even them together?...It has a decent sound to it on first listen, I just could find any info on these tracks...Any help would be awsome. Ed Rush & Optical's third album, The Original Dr Shade, is complete and ready to hit shops - but to many suprise there will be no singles to promote the long player. The album will be released as a double CD and 4x 12” vinyl in the end of May. The second disc is mixed by both producers, with "Kinetic" and "POD" appearing as bonus tracks. VRS 004 LP – 4 X 12": A Why? feat. MC Ryme Tyme & Darrison B 32-8 C Bullit D Heads Will Roll E Get Ill feat Scratch Perverts F Puerto Rico G Hacksaw H Hammerhead ..Its a pretty cool album. |

Both the previous Ed Rush/Optical releases have been double CD, it is quite common in drum and bass for the first CD to be the tracks and the second CD to be a mix of the tracks plus a few more thrown in for measure :D |

i wonder if its any good.. i like their stuff, i got the creeps, does kinda get boring after a while but still they make some fucking good basslines to dance to i reckon, no denying that, for instance the track 'kerb crawler' any1 know if dr shade is any good then? its out today in the UK |

as a big fan of ed rush & optical i highly suggest you get their first album 'wormhole', it's their best IMO download FIXATION if you want proof, my favourite ed+op track ever their first 5 VIRUS 12" are simply unearthly fantastic some of my non-album fave: Medicine Medicine (Matrix Remix) Shining Remix Bacteria Zardoz Lifespan Sick Note |

this new album is shit compared to wormhole and other earlier works. i don't really like the direction their heading with ,using MC's,reusing same sounds and beats with much less experiments.they used to sound so much rawer, darker and intense. Now it's more upbeat (this Bullit song is a joke. Ed Rush & Optical with a HAPPY song? WTF) and i don't know how to put it, but it feels kinda "flat". it doesn't do much for me :/ wormhole was classic, creeps had it's good moments (the creeps, greed, reach out). This is something else, something so far from the eerie soundscapes and sick evil bass they once were best at doing but that's my opinion |

i saw ed rush & optical (and the rest of the crew) this saturday. so i was waiting for ed to start playing.. turns out he's no longer bald, so i didnt recognize him.. that fuckwit. he just wasnt the same anymore. for the remainder of the night i mostly chilled at the elementz room with dj j-layz and pete rann. great night. too bad to read this sad news about their new album tho.. |

ed rush and optical's wormhole is good shit, man, my mate spins it all the time. My mate has Ed Rush's signature on his hat when we met him. He was a fucking sad sack. |
