Headwire - Dacquerie

Okay, so I don't really know how this will stack up to most
of the songs posted around here, but I just finished it and
it's one of my best.

The file is a little big, but the song is almost 4 1/2
minutes long. I posted it on my angelfire site so it's very
liable to run out of bandwidth if very many people d/l it.
But go ahead until it runs out.

Please tell me what you think. Thanks.

Is that an old Aphex track? I don't have all of the albums
and I don't know what song that is. Seriously, I still have
alot of the Twin to get into. I've never heard that song,
in other words.

You may want to create some more interesting sounds. I can
tell what program you are using.

you have potential, the song is weak in some aspects. Keep
making tracks, you'll get better.

I've listened to a few of the songs posted around here now
and my stuff is relatively primitive compared to them. And
my songs sound flat compared to them because I don't make
them on the computer..I make them on something else and then
transfer to the computer, so I can't pan anything or
anything of that nature. Unless I apply something to the
whole track (or portions of the whole track) on Cool Edit.

I listened to your song and I liked it quite a bit. Good
job. Very nicely mastered as well.

Do you have access to a decent computer? If so you should
download Fruityloops, Reason, and Cubase.

Yeah. I downloaded Fruity Loops once and didn't like it. I
probably just didn't have the energy to learn a new format.

But which one is the easiest to adjust to in your opinion?
I shall obtain it.

I use only fruityloops. I hated it at first, but now that I
know how to use it, I'm getting some good results. The new
Studio Floops is out, I need to download that, i hear its
supposed to be better.

Quite nice, instrumenal hip hop is something that I
generally like a lot...there was just something a bit too
quirky in your track that stopped me from loving it,
possibly the sounds that where used.

Sounds like N-Trance doing a cover of Lucy in the Sky with
Diamonds with the Salvation Army backing.

Well, thanks everybody for listening and replying. I really
appreciate it.

When I adjust to a better program I'm sure I'll get more
overall positive results. Thanks.

By the way, I wrote much of this on guitar.
^^^^^^^
fun fact.
