to some, yes... to me, YES!!!!!!!!!!
why must the brain be tricked into thinking that it needs rest?
why then, do we only try to make our lives form out of craziness... !!!!!!!!!!
MADNESS! chaos theory, theoretical evolution falling into a deep sleep that calms the nerves & ends the thought process of the conscience... i feel like barfing
more importantly i feel like trippin' right now, but no one is around & i do not enjoy the silence of the earth or the effect of being left alone, mind is jelly only to be played with
NATURE SHOULD NOT BE FUCKED WITH!

sleep is not a waste of time, try pulling two allnighters in a row on amphetamines and tell em different.
you feel fucked until you sleep
and you fucking see things - they are fucking cool for a while (seeing trails and smoke and bubbles floating around and shit) but you can't think or do anything very well....

isn't this just feeding your mind chemicals the exact same way your mind would react (but differently obviously... b/c of the certain chemicals released in the brain) if you were to stay up... listening to your favorite music... I don't give a fuck who it is or what... but you know... it's just the chemicals telling your brain that it needs rest right?
life is soo fucking confusing! god damnni!

all i am saying is make a natural process like sleep become an experience.... that can be something not used everyday for chemical intake, to make yourself feel better by getting less sleep, essentially yes, weed out the sleep... but make it more important when you do! and do not fall into a sleeping pattern... is this possible?

I sleep way too much. And I feel like I really need the sleep. I have trouble getting out of bed when I first wake up.
I wish I was one of these people that could go on 5-8/9 hours of sleep and be perfectly fine. It would be a blessing.

your mind is already made of chemicals interacting with each other.... you do not like the disturbance or the effect loop? or just where it puts your mind after the fact 80 years down the road... like i think what Mr. Orange Dust is trying to say is that it should be delt as 'experiences' and never taken in a manner that destroys the whole bow-jesus out of you...
you have a mind.... everyone can do what they want with it... which is mostly used to input & output

I actually just started taking some sleeping medicine, got a bad case of insomnia... I refused to take anything with any side effects, like Ritalin (yeah, not sleep drug, but same general idea), they sapped my creativity. The track I finally put up is a wonderful creation of sleep deprivation... down with sleep!

psychedelics are great if you think of it like thinking about a puzzle in general & trying to piece things together, but have all parts combine with each other & interact, where you can then finally realize that it was silly to think about that stuff in the first place

sleep is great when you have something you're proud of, that you can think about in the sub-conscience... like say for ex: you are RDJ, the man himself... and you just got done mastering the RDJ album, how silly, isn't it that the guy has that much guts to just play with his name that way, by putting it as his album title... good lamb!

It can be fun to go without sleep for a bit, but if you're driving it's pretty irresponsible. Only really doable when you're on holiday/a student.
Sanguine, with regard to not being able to sleep being good for tracks: When I was at university, I used to quite often find tracks in my music folder I had either very little or no recollection of making. Sometimes I'd just remember a pattern or instrument name.

It's ridiculous that our bodies have to shut down for 6-9 hours a day. Ideally, we should just be able to lay down, or sit, for 6-9 hours, AWAKE, but reading or watching something... resting, recharging, but aware. I fucking HATE how God decided to fuck us over like that.
Days are already way too short.

It's a damn pity sleeping is a biological necessity. It's strange in a way, because our brain seems to be very active while we sleep and consumes a lot of energy. Not the thing you would expect from resting.
The worst part of sleeping is waking up and getting out of that bed, still being tired. Every day again I hate it.

its such a trap. full time work.. well it turns me into a machine (an unhappy one at that)
im heavily inspired by visual artists who did as i described.. only worked when they had to.. and spent their time living or going mad in the studio
thats where i belong :) nowhere else. im always told its unrealistic but i just cant believe it
