Shears"...

He's the singer for the make-believe ''Sgt. Pepper'' band
(Ringo). The band that performs that album is NOT The
Beatles.

There's also the famous Paul is dead myth, and that Billy
Campbell replaced Paul from '66 to '69, and that ''BILLY
Shears'' is one of the clues, but that's crap.

I think.

Isn't there some really quiet message saying "I buried Paul"
somewhere?

It's in Strawberry Fields Forever, but it's saying
"cramberry sauce" or something.

message isnt in Strawberry Fields? heheh

Here's a site full of clues... there's tons of sites like
this. Link

Strawberry Fields Forever has John saying ''Cranberry
Sauce'' during the end freakout, some people thought it may
be ''I Buried Paul''... they should clean the wax out of
their ears!

But there's lots of other backwards messages and clues in
their artwork and lyrics.

I personally think he's alive, call me crazy. O_0

If not, that Billy Campbell was quite a find!

Ah cheers, I think I read about that in some BoC
interview... I like little myths like that that spring up
around music. Gives you something to talk about while you
wait for the next release ;)

I know, some of the clues are reeeeaaally stretching it! But
some are pretty freaky.

And some of the secret messages are unsettling too. I never
listen to them alone.

Narrator: Stig, meanwhile, had hidden in the background so
much that in 1969, a rumor went around that he was dead. He
was supposed to have been killed in a flash fire at a
waterbed shop and replaced by a plastic and wax replica from
Madame Tusseaud's. Several so-called "facts" helped the
emergence of this rumor. One: he never said anything
publicly. Even as the "quiet one," he'd not said a word
since 1966. Two: on the cover of their latest album, "Shabby
Road," he is wearing no trousers, an Italian way of
indicating death. Three: Nasty supposedly sings "I buried
Stig" on "I Am The Waitress." In fact, he sings, "E burres
stigano," which is very bad Spanish for "Have you a water
buffalo?" Four: On the cover of the "Sergeant Rutter" album,
Stig is leaning in the exact position of a dying Yeti, from
the Rutland Book of the Dead. Five: If you sing the title of
"Sergeant Rutter's Only Darts Club Band" backwards, it's
supposed to sound very like "Stig has been dead for ages,
honestly." In fact, it sounds uncannily like "Dnab Bulc Ylno
S'rettur Tnaegres." Palpable nonsense.

Narrator: In the midst of all this public bickering, "Let it
Rot" was released as a film, an album, and a lawsuit. In
1970, Dirk sued Stig, Nasty, and Barry; Barry sued Dirk,
Nasty, and Stig; Nasty sued Barry, Dirk, and Stig; and Stig
sued himself accidentally. It was the beginning of a golden
era for lawyers, but for the Rutles, live on a London
rooftop, it was the beginning of the end.

his.

heres some finds:

Worried about losing their public or something, the Beatles
decided to hide the death and get a replacement instead. The
replacement was named. . . Billy Shears. We don't remember
the supposed chronology, but it was just before the release
of Sgt. Pepper. In any case, John was haunted by Paul's
death, because he felt that if he had been there, Paul
wouldn't have been driving where the accident happened.

-----------------------------------------------------------
---------------------

In regards to Sgt. Pepper's, there never was a person named
"Billy Shears", the Beatles were using a play on words to
express that William Campbell was in the group:

Billy Shears = BillyS hears = Billys hear = Billys here

Billy was there, and the Beatles were introducing William
(Billy) Campbell.

Yeah, Billy Shears = Ringo.

A Day in the Life is so rediculously the best song on there
that it sticks out like a sore thumb. I almost feel the
same about "I am the Walrus" on MMT.

billy shears is not a real person... watch the anthology DVD
and they explain the whole concept behind the album.

they had stopped touring so they sent the album (and lonely
hearts club band) on tour.

also 'here's another clue for you all... the walrus was
paul'

in another song 'i was the walrus... but now i'm john'......
so walrus could be either of them.

also a little trivia i picked up about veruca salt paying
tribute to the beatles:

1) -beatles sing 'here's another clue for you all, the
walrus was paul'.

-veruca salt sing 'here's another clue if you please, the
seether's louise'.

2)VS album is called 'eight arms to hold you', that was the
working title for the movie 'help'.
