what screen resolution do you use? me: 1280x1024 - it's to only way to fly :) just trying to establish a pattern, so please post your reply. thankywanky |

when i surf the internet or do something in windows 1024x768 but when i use fruity loops i need more room, so i switch to 1280x1024 the only rpoblem is that the framerate falls down under 50 hz... so my eyes hurt like hell after two hours |

19" screen (18" viewable), 1152 x 864 for easy legibility, bumped up if I need more room for toolbars an shit in corel draw or something chambre noir, you are running with the correct aspect ratio! 1280 x 960 is correct, sir! Teh win!!!111 (1280 x 1024 attempts to pack too many vertical scanlines into the same physical space as a 1 to 1.3 resolution like 1024 x 768, resulting in subtle visual distortion) |

i have been wearing glasses since i was 6 -- i used to have to go up to the front of the classroom and squint to see what was written on it -- nowadays i wear contact lenses, and i get a stronger prescription every year. |

1024 x 768, but I SHOULD use 800 x 600 too... I have to sit right close to read some text and even make out some of these avatars. Too much time staring at screens + rampant sinning = blurry sight. Anything greater than 1024 on my 15 incher (!) just looks microscopic. |
