guilty pleasure - bad music you like

we all have skeletons in our closets and music is no
exception.

so the question is this: is there any one artist, band
and/or song which you well know is totally atrocious and
horrible but for some unexplicable reason you can't help but
like it?

i'm talking milli vanilli, vanilla ice, NKOTB, michael
jackson, kylie and other such "artists" who have committed
unforgivable crimes against music.

so if you're one of those poor souls who just can't stop
humming that "in da club" tune in their head over and over
again, post your guilty musical pleasure here (preferably
with a rationale behind why you just "can't get it out of
your head")

Mine would have to be by a person called Venetian
Snares...when I am happy I can't help but hum the Find
Candace tune.

as for my part, 'butchered at birth' by cannibal corpse is
just so damn poppy and catchy like a mofo that i can't stop
singing it every single time i take a shower!

but seriously, snoop dogg's 'gin & guice' owns big in the
crap songs i can't help but like department, and here's why:
"sippin' on gin & juice! laid back. got my mind on my money
and my money on my mind!" - so yeah, snoop got me drinking
gin & juice, and the song is just so pimpin' it ain't no
joke, yo!

a. micheal jackson is not a criminal* against music

b. you shouldn't get guilty pleasures from music. it's not
like touching children. if you can't be "brave" enough to
openly admit than you like a certain artist, you shouldn't
be listening to them

* yeah, i know, smooth criminal, haw haw, good one guys

well, not that I really feel guilty listening to anything...
I enjoy what I enjoy... BUT

I guess Tears for Fears would qualify... I love em... and
toto, and heart, and lots of other 80's music...

i hate this guilty pleasurre attitude when it comes to...
comes to what "uncool" people in the music biz, huh? why is
it a guilty pleasurre? i like who i like and i don't trry
and hide it.

I agree with Bob Mcbob, 'You've Come a Long Way, Baby' is a
big beat masterpiece!

As for guilty musical pleasures, erm, White Stripes, 'Fell
In Love With a Girl'..

um..80's pop..especially towards the end of the decade...

er... and that's it really.

cause who decides what is cool, and uncool to listen to? I
like what I like... I don't care if so and so considers it
lame...

Hey! Michael Jackson was pretty darn funky before he made
enough money to make anyone mad... Off the Wall is a great
album.
Well I have to confess that I really like some of Sam
Cooke's songs.

funny. some of you guys are ashamed of the white stripes and
iron maiden. the second there shocks me. maiden fuckin'
RULES!!! bruce is my hero...and...and...dave and janick and
nicko and adrian and steve... they RULE! i saw 'em in vegas
at the aladdin in 2000. that was SUCH an amazing show. i
couldn't talk the next day. oh man. yeah. they DO have some
of the worst lyrics in existence...but the ones that're good
are GOOD. i.e. the trooper, powerslave, caught
somewhere in time, the clairvoyant, afraid to shoot
strangers. hoo. the list goes on and on. should i be ashamed
that i own all their albums and pretty much all the lyrics
to every song? (well...aside from x factor and virtual XI.
blaze sucks ass.)

and michael jackson kicks ass. lunatic or no. sorry.
