He's very good indeed. Pity I didn't catch him when he was
here last time.

since this i posted this i just found out he was here
recently. a serious pitty we missed that show.

the first time i had ever heard sage was at first ave when
he toured with atmosphere. i was just blown away... so rare
is it that an emcee really takes the stage like a true
artist with such confidence and entertaining connection to
the audience. could hardly believe i had never heard this
man.

Unfortunately, I've never seen him live, but my friend plays
his stuff a lot. I hope I'll be informed the next time he
comes around.

well, you are in luck! i just stumbled across his email
address and contacted him. he replied promptly saying he'll
be at the cabooze April 30th with carnage, p.o.s. and some
others, none of which i've ever heard. he said he'll be
accompanied by only a minidisc and will do mostly spoken
word. doors open at 8 pm.

net to pass some time." next thing i knw he's sent me info

Saw him in Chicago about a month ago...played with a live
band. the crowd was enormous. a guy named C.R. Avery opened
up for him - played beat box with his mouth, while playing a
toy keyboard and harmonica and singing/rapping.
