Ya. I'm probably not the first to tell you this, but smoking is an art. Inititally, the anxiety of smoking creates a sort of defensive barrier.
As you progress, you gradually learn to relax and overcome the natural resistance that occurs when you first begin.
You will learn how to make the best of it. I didn't get high my first time. Now? :)

I never experienced that. I'm more anxious when I'm not on pot. It always had that relaxing feeling for me, and always will. :)

corrupted girl, please do NOT believe any of those rediculous commercials. yes, hypothetically one joint (by the way, is there a universal standard size for 'one joint'?? no, of course not, so this part of there campaign is fallible, right off the bat) MAY contain as much tar as 4 cigarettes. but without specifying (which is the trick here) what kind of cigarette (different brands have different tar/nicotine levels) and who's to say they didnt use ultra-light cigarettes to determine this 'fact'?
if you rolled a rediculous joint ..like one the size of my- ..like one that's REALLY big.. with extremely potent, near g-13 marijuana, there is going to be a rediculous amount of tar right?
well, whoever came up with this commercial very well may have used a joint like that to make this commercial work (remember, saying "one joint" means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. that could be near the size of a blunt or almost as thin as a toothpick) and found the cigarette brand with the lowest tar/nicotine per cigarette with an ultra-light variety, and began their dubious 'scientific' study.
given the open-endedness of this bullshit, they coudl just as easily have said one joint contains as much tar as one and a half packs of cigarettes, but oh.. we'll leave out the minutae, like the fact that those 30 cigarettes are Doral Ultra-Lights and the joint was filled with dirt weed and was the size of a roll of quarters.
second.. that tearjerker where the palatable young black kid with white features visits the roadside crashsite where his younger brother died. we are told that the driver was under the influence of marijuana.. we are also told, I believe, that the lil' brother was the driver.. this detail is utterly useless for one.. as it makes no difference other than to make the commercial 'sadder' and more touching so we're reminded of this depressing scene each time we think of someone lighting up, I guess.
they also tell us that something like two out of every three teenagers killed in roadside car accidents wa

they also tell us that something like two out of every three teenagers killed in roadside car accidents was found with marijuana in their systems.. this is not convincing.. you could replace the word "marijuana" with the word "chocolate" and their argument would be just as convincing to me. while it may be true that marijuana was detected in the SAMPLE GROUP tested (meaning, in order to test the validity of this statement, you must know the size of the sample group and whether or not it was a biased, random, specific sampling of people.. there could have been only 2 people out of say, 500 roadside accidents in which marijuana was detected.. but they chose a group of three that just happened to include the 2 isolated incidents.. this is an extreme example but it helps make the point clearer) anyway, it could.. though it is HIGHLY doubtful it COULD be true that 67% of all teenagers killed roadside accidents had marijuana in their systems. what does this tell you about marijuana though!? nothing. this doesnt even indicate whether or not they were DRIVING!!! so someone who hit a joint once or twice, sitting in the back seat of the car that crashed ends up contributing to this false statistic..
finally, stating that marijuana was in their systems does not necessarily mean it was the CAUSE of the accident. like I said before about 'chocolate,, it could be determined that 80% of all drivers (and let's not forget the passengers! as this ad campaign certainly did not) of fatal car crashes all had chocolate in their systems at the time.. does that mean chocolate was the cause!?! nooo. it could have been raining/sleeting in some instances, or they could have been hit by a drunk driver for all we know, but most likely.. it was ALCOHOL.. which, by the was is the funniest part about this whole thing.. because thirty seconds after these commercials end, there's usually a budweiser or bacardi silver commercial waiting in the next time slot. they seem to forget that, in america, drunk driving is the number one cause of t

they seem to forget that, in america, drunk driving is the number one cause of teenage deaths.. oops! I guess they just let that one slip.. honest mistake, really.
then there's the one about the young girl that gets pregnant 'because she smoked marijuana' and it 'impares your judgement' yeah. like no one has ever gotten really drunk and fucked some random person w/out a condom. I dont know about you, but when I smoke marijuana (in social circumstances) I can hardly SPEAK to anyone .. let alone FUCK them.. and nevermind the fact that smoking marijuana can, through extended use, many times lead to impotence (it should be noted that whilst I am a vehement advocate of the legalization of this drug.. I cant STAND smoking it anymore.. though I wish to eventually get over that and start enjoying it again)
alright, now after that informative diatribe, why dont you reciprocate the gesture by sending those infamous pictures I seemed to missed out on
