I want to thank everyone for having such good taste in
music, and opening my ears up to wonderful new sounds.

I hit the "Now Playing" thread last night for a hour or so,
and d/l sample os what everyone is listening to, and good
lord I need money to buy a pile of new albums.

Some of the best music is hard to find, but you guys listen
to it, and I love hearing it all.

HIghlights------

Four Tet - oh man, great stuff, "Parks" owns me

Astrobotnia-killer, just killer

mu-ziq - good lord, why haven't i been listening to this all
along?

Swayzak- funk styles, I like

Burzum - so crazy, can't stop listening

Coil - oh man, I love music

Global Goon - wonderus

ltj bukem -sweet

anyway, thanks to everyone for giving me aspirations to find
new music and bringing me the best in what makes me smile,
and feel good, and think,

the best that moves me, found on xlt

my main influences (i feel i posted this somewher
earlier...oh well)
aphex twin, faithless, god lives underwater, smashing
pumpkins, nirvana, radiohead, autechre, boards of canada,
mouse on mars, kraftwerk, plaid, kid 606, everclear,
goldfrapp, aphex twin, polygon window, caustic window,
filter, STP, james iha, dire straits, primus, citizen king,
(hed)pe, refused, glassjaw, eighteen visions, aphex twin,
Camel Dark Mint, mr.oizo, mr.boston(vodka), pitchshifter,
pixies
needless to say, they aren't ALL electronic, but if i only
listened to electronic, i'd make the same exact music they
did, wouldn't i?

that's true etched, my main influences barely even touch
electronic music, I'm deeply rooted in rock.

however, as I've said, everyone here continues to expand my
mind and musical influences, and it's a most wonderful
thing.

hey guys, how come I still loathe most of Squarepusher's
works, his constant beat-tricks annoy me and his melodies
seem boring? I try harder, but still only less than a third
of his music is acceptable for me.
