dirrected by Todd Solondz is shite. it had some good ideas going on but at the end rreally left me feeling like my £3.75 had been wasted. anyone else seen it?

Yeah - it was alright - definitely had it moments - better than most of the shite coming out of America these days.

the plot for storytelling never really came together for me. seemed like the director got preoccupied with trying to shock the viewer and lost track of telling a cohesive story. kindof ironic really.
happiness was much better IMO

but, selma blair is pretty. she was one of the only redeeming factors to the movie for me... even as trashed out as she was.

I really liked the first part "fiction" it was very well done but too short. Ill agree the second part of the movie was shit though. I guess he was just trying to throw us off by going off on tangents such as the whole maid thing and that little bastard son.
I DO have a question though....does anyone know what song was played in the opening credits? It is really good. the movie says music by belle and sebastian but I know they didnt do that song. Please help
