Speaking of nausea, I'm sick of my television programs
getting interrupted by cities blowing up. Has this whole
world gone insane?

good to see that someone has finally stood up for the
decent, exploitative republican like me and bombed my oil
company shares sky high, to make me richer through the loss
of innocent lives:

heres an investment tip, buy shares in the new bush-led
company selling charred baby skulls as souvenir ash-trays:
there are plenty to go round!
go bush! go fourth reich! yay!

evil Q is very intuitive! one smart kitty kot IMO.

i hope all those that protested this war are feeling
satisfied, because while it didn't stop the
inevitable.......it's so important to express one's opinion
about a governments actions. they should all feel
accomplishment !!

*wishes i'd been able to march*

one of the most scary things about this war was the last two
days.

and the fact that todays media are everywhere, so in
potential we can see everything (we don't, but still).

so we could see how teachers in schools in Bagdad were
teaching the childeren what to do during bombardments. that
really scared me - how organised this all is, how clinical.
how pregnant women went to hospitals to get caesarians
because they were supposed to give birth today.

most people there just had to sit and wait for this to
start. that scared me.

the pentagon confirmed that the target of the unplanned
airstrike you saw on tv was saddam hussein.. two separate
strikes were planned for later tonight (eastern time) this
was not one of the two

in addition to this.. we bombed SAM (surface-to-air
missiles) sites in the southern iraqi desert and used chaff
to jam/disrupt their radar systems in that area.. so the
bombing (at least on prelim. iraqi defense systems) had
begun hours before the utterly useless countdown ended

i'm glad we're at war now... war is horrible, no doubt, but
good CAN and often DOES come out of bad things and i think
in this case, more lives would have been lost if action was
not taken

Does anyone know of a site with half decent information on
what's happening in this war? My usual news sites don't have
anything but patriotic praise for 'Bush's compassionate
world sense'...

Google News, perhaps because it's compiled by machines,
is fairly unbiased. They gather headlines from international
sources. I've found some interesting stories there.
