A freind in work flew over for this and came back with the
tracks they perfomed
(on paper, not audio unfortunately!)

Boards of Canada "Pete Standing Alone" from MHTRTC
.......cool!!

Aphex Twin "afx237" from Drukqs
..........imagine!!

Squarepusher "Port Rhombus" from that EP and "The tide" from
"Budokhan Mindphone"... she said thta this was the best shit
ever!

They also played John Cage, Mira Calix peformed live and
they showed Monkey Drummer, Gantz Graf and a kick ass Chris
Clark tune/video

I can´t wait to play this shit when i get home and imagine
it all in orchestral format

Was that Chris Clark video the one with the bee and the man.
If so it was done by Lynnfox and is very cool indeed.

See here

It's going to be broadcast on Radio3 in the Uk in April.

BOC was good, Aphex unrecognisable, SP The Tide was
excellent.

John Cage and Mira Calix were highlights for me, as well as
a lovely Stockhausen number for saxophone/short wave radio.

Really good night overall.

fuck, I cannot wait! I've been listening to a bit of
stockhausen lately, so it'll be good to hear that :)

No idea, got it from the forum on the London Sinfonietta
website (url escapes me right now, should be easy to find)

btw, people who aren't in the UK, you can still hear it if
you go to the bbc website (www.bbc.co.uk) and follow the
links to radio 3 - the BBC are kind enough to archive their
shows

LOL, imagine them performing Gantz Graf...

This sure was the greatest event in IDM scene since
Confield! Will there be a DVD? Or is it too good to be put
in digital form? =)

oh man, this track is so fucking good. i saw a different
version of this video which was nice as well but this one's
even better. by the way, i could not find this track on
soulseek. Is all the music on that warp-animate site 'video
exclusive' ?

Did anyone go? I phoned for tickets but it had sold out.

The track is called either 'Gob Coit' or 'Gob Coitus'.

Indeed there is another video to it by Richard Fenwick. It is
made up of shots panning over city/landscapes combined with
3D mesh representations.

I was trying to find out if this track is exclusive to the
video competition or will appear on any of his future
releases. So far to no avail.

Hmm, the Warp website makes it seem as if the videos are
promotional devices for new music. I assume then that it
will be released. Hurrah.

"We asked anyone who fancied making a short promo video
for some new Warp music from Brothomstates, Chris Clark,
Mira Calix, Plaid, and Prefuse73 to send us examples of your
work."
