Time to start a new topic (Not done this in a while.)
We're all lovers of Electronic music, otherwise we wouldn't be here ('cept Jedi Chris ofcourse), but what sort of electronica do you prefer to listen to? What sort got you into this type of sound in the first place?
Fast paced beats the likes of, Come To Daddy perhaps?
Slow ambient tunes of, lets say Turquoise Hexagon Sun?
Or the stupidly mad style of The Confield Album?
Just interested to know! :)
Over and out

Come to Daddy (Pappy Mix) was the first Braindance/IDM/Phuqqed up-tune I heard, so, yes "fast paced beats".
I do still prefer mad-as-hell-beats, though. ^^

It depends on my mood whether i love listening to slow ambient tunes or fast paced beats. If i could take only one genre with me it would be the ambient tunes.

Only one? When I'm in the mood, I love fast fucked up beats more than anything - but I'm not always in the mood. So I'd have to go with melodic mid-paced happy shit like Plaid's upbeat stuff.

æ's stuff of the last couple of years (EP7, LP5, confield, gantz graf)
vsnares picking one style is impossible, i love pretty much all afx stuff too
bola, boc and plaid can be beautiful sometimes, but bore me rather quickly
:P

Hey Bob!
Yea sorry about the generalisations but you are right, there are so many different types of electronic music. I just put them in those three catagories. they're not Genre types, just catagories.
pick one. go on. you know you want to.
