So the Mayan calendar says its the comming of the fourth age. Predictions range from catastrophic to ecstatic to who gives a fuck. Personally if things keep going they way they are right now, I'd say that December 21, 2012 would be a pretty accurate date for shit to hit the fan. |

it's by Terrance McKenna (don't think i spelt that right). He died last year, and was way into mushrooms and shamanism. Into the idea that mushrooms were from another planet and seeded here on earth, and they allowed you to have contact with the Machine Elves!!!!!!! Wicked stuff :) |

Yeah, I was quite sad when I heard he had passed. I liked how he talked about "heroic" doses of psychoactive agents. Not just getting high, or wasted, but HEROIC doses!!! and he spent time with the Shamans in South America. Not too sure what I think about all of his stuff, but an original thinker, and not afraid to walk his own path. |

t wierd me out sometimes when i listen to him... cause his voice has taken on the voice of what he calls "the other". when i'm done thinking after a long trip, but there are still things begin saif inside me, but i'm not saying them... and the voice takes on the character of the mushrooms, that voice comes through in mckenna. that just wieds me out, like he's totally possessed by the other. |
