NO, the invention of the electric guitar is in theory "electronic" music. electronic music has however... been around since that early invention of the guitar with the likes of artists such as stockhausen and cage... i do believe that if they hadn't explored done sound experimentations with their microphones & analog tape machines, the electronic music listened to today, would have never existed... the likewise with computer/game music... |

Listen to some experimental electronic guitar, before saying that. There is plenty of guitar not used in a rock, jazz, or classical setting, you just have to look for it. |
