yes indeed. every thing interesting one can do with a guitar
is dunn. (exept, maby, from classical n jazz). and old rock
is probably the worst. or new. well shit, all rock sucks.
some got half decent melodies, but apart from that its all
wank.

raimons: you cant be serius about kraftwerk.. they really
suck 12" cock.

JF Jasson D is a narrow minded queer bag dick hole. why
don't you actually try and listen to some experimental
guitar before you come here and say that everything has been
done. oh and classical and jazz guitar is about the most
explored area of guitar, so you really don't have a fucking
clue what you are talking about. whats left for jazz, big
bands dead, combos are dead, now thats left is free jazz and
that gets old after awhile. go suck your dick.

no no no... absolute creative freedom. saying that guitars
should die is no less absurd than saying computers should
die. if your idea of guitar work is just boring old time
rock (some of which i find far from boring) then you
obviously haven't broadened your listening enough to begin
to comment.

NO, the invention of the electric guitar is in theory
"electronic" music.

electronic music has however... been around since that early
invention of the guitar with the likes of artists such as
stockhausen and cage... i do believe that if they hadn't
explored done sound experimentations with their microphones
& analog tape machines, the electronic music listened to
today, would have never existed...

the likewise with computer/game music...

Man what a stupid thread...
What about the Beatles and Led Zeppelin...Rock is not the
only thing the guitar is used for...what about some of JS
bach's stuff, that stuff is insane.

I disagree whole-heartedly

know your roots, otherwise what's the point in trying to
create something different?

give artists a chance but don't take away the instruments...
so what if the guitar is used in the creation of their
music... all you care about is what you like, correct? same
here with me... i'm just saying that you should know your
roots & to say that guitars should die, then you should say
that everything AFTER the guitar shouldn't exist as well!

everything is good if it is for good music

i know where you're coming from... i can't stand most of the
guitar work i hear, but we mostly hear a very small portion
of what is being created... and you have to admit, if you
truly love art or music, the idea of putting up boundaries
is just horrible, it goes against the limitless evolution of
creation.

Quoth, very good point. As I stated before, JF Jasson D
never broadened his/hers horizons before blantantly stating
that gutiar should die. Listen to some experimental
electronic guitar, before saying that. There is plenty of
guitar not used in a rock, jazz, or classical setting, you
just have to look for it.
