I got an e-mail from Skyfarmer, he wanted me to post this for him: "If the last drop was my BlatantEcho thread, please tell me if I phrased the question wrong, I didn't mean any bad emotions in his direction, I just thought it was very odd that a person like him looks like a scapegoat in some situations... Felt the need to ask if anyone feels like that too. No offense to BlatantEcho was intended, but ppl started shouting 'you twat', and 'blatantecho is a nice guy' and etc. Noone seemed to care much about people treating him badly before that, and I saw no reason for that. Sorry if the message I wrote was negative, but again, its purpose was completely different. Please explain my language blunders leading to this hmmm... highly unexpected reaction. I appreciate the burst of attention to my person, but could youplease add the feature of notifying the banned person of 1. reasons leading to his banishment 2. name and home address of the guy who did it 3. his physical characteristics, weak spots --skyfarmer" I think Skyfarmer presented his thread using the wrong words to express what he wanted to say, and people (including myself) didnt really know where he was comming from and got upset. The guy was genuinly upset and appaulogized for causing such drama, and wanted me to tell Blatantecho that he appaulogizes. I think skyfarmer is a good guy, but he just used the wrong vocabulary, he says that he was really misunderstood So whats up? |

there are a lot of interesting things to talk about without getting all sentimental about the message board itself. he's probably only banned for a week. when i was banned for a week i wasn't given a warning beforehand or an explanation ever and i never even mentioned it here until now. know why? it's boring and unimportant. get over it; sky will be back, go on with your lives and hey MAYBE start an interesting discussion instead of dwelling on different people (Ceri JC, Blatant Echo, skyfarmer) or bringing up the same autechre, venetian snares, aphex, BoC discussions/comparisons over and over! *catches breath* |

agreed. i doubt any of the moderators were even told about my banning because it was so absurd. all i did was speak the truth about something i thought people should know about (phobia not buying idm albums when idm artists sell so little and he's so well paid from his networking job). but as i said, i didn't bring it up till now because phobia has never been a saint in my eyes. it would be retreading the same thing me and some others have known about his personality for a long time. old news, in other words. so i let it slide. but my point is, there are so many interesting conversations to have without resorting to indulging in conversations about message board drama (or repeating bland discussions about albums or artists). |
