My new CD

offline giginger from Milky Beans (United Kingdom) on 2003-01-24 04:34 [#00526302]

My new mix CD tracklisting:

Aphex Twin - Elephant
Salt 'n' Peppa - Push It
Blur - Song 2
New Order - Confusion (Pump Panel Reconstruction Mix)
Prodigy - Smack My Bitch Up
Blondie - Atomic
Leftfield - Phat Planet (Dave Clarke Remix)
Don McLean - American Pie
Mirwais - Naive Song
Rolling Stones - Satisfaction
Aphex Twin - Industro Garage Beats (a.k.a Fantasia)
Ultravox - Vienna
Dust Brothers - Stealing Fat (Intro Song for the Brain Ride
in Fight Club)
Tom Jones - It's Not Unusual

Osymyso - Intro-Inspection

There's a gap between the last two as I don't know what else
to put in. Does anyone else have a good suggestion of a tune
to follow Tom Jones. This is all beatmatched or mixed in
some way. I have these all on vinyl so preferably a vinyl
track although if the idea is too genius to not do then I
shall compromise. Come on kids help me out please :D

you forgot to put some classic music on this compilation,
you'd cover pretty much everything then...

Good suggestion. I've got the 1812 on vinyl and some other
classics. I'll have a go. Thanks for the idea mate.

You've lost me there sorry. Agree with you on the Blur

Debbie Harry is the taxi announcer on GTA Vice City! :D

I've considered playing classical music, the nearest I've
come is playing 20s & 30s ballroom.

Gi. I made a mix CD using wav files and an editor. I think I
told you about it. Mail an address to me that I can send a
copy off to you dude. It's grindcore/braindance/gabber and
such like.

didn't. Address coming your way sir. I like the sound of it.
Purrrrrr

You prolly did and I forgot. I'm nothing if not a tad
ditzy.

It has a BBC owl on the cover and nothing else. I've just
been handing them out. It's not great or anything but fun.

Ditzy is good. You replying to this thread has made me think
of popping one of your tracks on my CD. Have you get a
preference Spikee? I like owls. They do excorcist style
tricks :)

I stood for like an hour watching this owl once. It was like
the size of a medium bin and it's eyes where huge. When it
turned it's head you couldn't see any neck so it looked like
just it's eyes and beak moved over it's fur. It had it's
eyes half closed and it was totally chill. I wanted it.

If you want to put one of my tracks on you can but I have no
idea what. I dislike most of my music so it's up to others
as to what they like. }:> Gatomon is prolly the most
standard yet slightly boring track I have made.

Owls rule.

You shouldn't put your music down Spikee. I really like it.
I can't remember the name of the one I've got but it's
fucking mental mate.

How to look proffessional at work, trip down the stairs into
the foyer, wearing scruffy clothes, whilst whistling Tori
Amos' "Cornflake Girl" as loud as possible. When the boss is
in.

I spend night after night making them so by the time they
are done I am sick of hearing them and can't judge them
well. E Heads seem to love it but it's really embarrassing
when you are in a room filled with people and when someone
enquires where the music is from people point at you. I'd
rather lurk and smoke a splif then have that attention. It's
weird to see the reactions you get tho. Hmm.

What I'm trying to say is I'm shy about the whole thing so I
can never really form an opinion on it.

I'll get some jiffy bags and send that mix to you Gi and I
have a few other places to send it when I print more covers.

It'll be fun to mix it. I know the feeling you have about it
though Spikee. I don't know ny e-heads otherwise I'd slap it
in their direction see what they thought. I haven't had a
spliff in ages. It was last year some time. Mmmmmmm I could
go for one right now.....

When I DJ I like to hide. I want to DJ more but if I do I
have to be able to hide. Are you available to do sets live
Gi? (just so I know if anything comes up in the distant
future.)

I want a joint now. I'm gonna be having a few tonight like.
Coffee has to keep me placid at the moment.

I'm available for live sets Spikee :) I like to hide too but
only because I have a habit to start jumping around when I
really like the way a mix is going. I'll be purely drinking
tonight. I think I'll be a pussy and just have Baileys..
