Sorry, got a bit excited there! Wasn't expecting folks who
like electronic music to be into Will Oldham... but then
there is me so...

I really love his voice despite the fact that he can't carry
a tune to save his life.

good question... I'd think I'd have to say "Viva Last
Blues", the one just called Palace Brothers, or the BPB
album "I See a Darkness". I recently borrowed the Bonnie
"Blue" Billy 7" which is rather nice. Weird that I rate
Palace Brothers and I See a Darkness at the top of the list
cos they're really very different to each other.

On an incidental sidenote, I saw Will Oldham in a film
before I knew anything about his music. The film was
"Everybodys Baby - the Rescue of Jessica McClure" a US TV
movie about a baby who fell down a hole in the ground. And a
true story aparently. Oldham played the father if I remember
correctly...

i like ease down the road as it weaned me off a particulary
bad relationship and made me stop worrying about it ... it's
well sexy and carefree - looking forward to the new one

Yes that's true, I remember that movie when it came out.
heh..

He has a bit part in Harmony Korine's: Julien DonkeyBoy as
well.

I just picked up Will Oldham: Joya and it's real murky and
dark blueish.. Real good.

Viva Last Blues and Ease down the road are both real good
too.

XQ: If you like VLB I reccomend 'There Is No One What Will
Take Care Of You.'

Botnia: If you like EDTR then I suggest, 'Black/Rich Music'
