Why would it result in more releases? Who care if he breaks his contract with Warp. He is just a person who releases good music, be patient. In the mean time buy a monkey and go on tour with a circus. It will help time pass by between releases.

26 Remixes for cash isn't coming out on vinyl. Warp not investing in Aphex anymore? hmmm.

Or he is just pissing about when he moans about them, which he is well known for. I don't see how Warp can be that bad. The only people who normally have any bad feelings towards them are people not signed to them, and they have so many artists who have been signed to them for a long time.

I wouldn't have thought an vinyl of remixes would sell that well. Most people buy CD's these days like it or not. Plus you have to take into account agreements with other labels with repect to licensing the tracks for the release. As most of them are IDM related, the other artists might not want them to come out of vinyl. Because if you really like a track off the album you will go and buy the original vinyl release with the remix on.

richard was pissing about when he made comments about warp. that rumour is all rubbish, it's just been spread around and encouraged by certain people who want to cause trouble.
he is still good friends with warp and the other bands like AE.
and so is tom.

That is what I thought. I have said in the past when I read two interviews which where done within days of each other. The first one was the one where he had a go at Autechre saying he didn't like them. Then in the next one he was talking about emailing some samples to Sean to play with.
