After seeing that porn girl icon that looked like the vaunted Aphex A, it reminded me that the Half-Life icon looked familiar too. See for yourself. Seriously, the Aphex logo kicks ass, it really does. Where was it first used, who designed it, what is it, etc? |

its much better if you play it online, in mod form as counterstrike, which i used to play. but the game is far too old now. good for its day but looks dated a bit now.for pc you can get loads of mods and adons which make it last longer before you get bored. anyway this isnt a half life forum, so im gunna shut up :) |

cs is good fun. i used to play with my mates, normally about 10 of us. most on 56k, a couple on cable. we ahd a clan called spray and pray few still play i dont care anymore. to the point cs is team based, with 2 teams. differnet weapons to half life. you have a primary weapon, a pistol and a couple of grenades.you get money for kills,etc and you can get better guns with the money. its got some great levels, but too many people use wall hackers and when ure dead, thats it until the next round. Q3 is much much better for frantic fragging action, but you can buy pc halflife with counterstrike for about £10 now so give it a try. |
