Guys! Wanna show who's handy with a Photoshop or whateveryouusetomakegfxstuff? is a collaborative art site. There are those QUILT things, which are pictures that are drawn by many many people. You just sign in, get a TILE (usually a square piece of the future pic) which has little edges of surrounding tiles for you to nicely blend into. And so you draw on the area in your tile in any gfx editor you like, and send it back. And voila - it's in the quilt! People, perhaps you need a bit of practice, try signing in and getting a tile on a 'Newbies' quilt. We'll see how good it is then :) |

OK, now it's kinda ready, my starter-tile is ok, and don't forget to read the goddamn instructions. Go . You're all invited. Check out 'available' tiles... and yeah, I first wanted to make it 128x128, but then changed my mind to 160x120, and when you get a tile, it says '128x128 draw area', but it's actually 160x120, so the white fields left are where you draw too. You may want to see this too... |

No offense, but I think this is a lame idea. Quilts of any kind don't appeal to me--I mean, why have a few thousand people with nothing in common except for a few similar tastes in music. Besides--very few people are actually skilled with Photoshop; others are just hacky nerds. |
