I post a lot, but I don't do it to get more points. I just like this site and the people on it. I think due to the fact that we're unlikely to know more than one or two other fans of this genre of music in real life, online is a great place to meet them. |

how i found the board. i was browsing aphex-related links and came up with aphextwin.nu. it took i while for me to have courage to post but the response i got was so nice.... now i'm completely hooked. and since i am surrounded by people who don't share my music taste, the mb is a good way for me to keep more sane :> |

Yeah I've learnt a lot since I joined. Some stuff I didn't like - some I did but there's no way I'd be able to discover so many artists in, say, a chat room. Plus some of the stuff you music maker members do is awesome too. |

Quality of Quantity is what I beleive. I try to keep my posting to a minimum, not to spam or say stupid/irrelevant things. Just so happens I so spend alot of time here and happened to rack up 2000 points. If more people here practiced Quality of Quantity the board would be alot nicer. Instead of one word answers and other nonsense. I have no idea how ophecks and funkmaster racked up 7,000, jeese guys. |

this place is where i learnt all about 'idm' and other great music, eletronic or not when i started listening to this stuff i didnt know anybody else who liked it (now im starting to get a few friends into it) this place (and the ppl from here on soulseek) was my only source of learning about new music and artists... plus there are lots of smart interesting people (which i also have to put up with a shortage of in terms of personal experience) on here... there are always fun and/or interesting discussions going on.. |

I usually engage in conversational type discussions over certain things here, and by doing that it's pretty easy to rack up a load of points I guess... plus I've been here since the first day the points system (v4.5 or whatever) was put in... |

It's not that hard to get 7000, it's not like this board takes up more of my time then it should. I only sleep like 4 or 5 hours a night, so there's kind of ''extra'' time during the day or something where I can just kind of sit here listening to music and surf the net... I log on and post like a frickin' speed demon. |
