entertaining.

Dave is a better drummer then he is a singer or guitarist.
(And he's a fucking good singer and guitarist!) :)

I have actually lost interest in rock in general..but I like
what I hear of this record (I heard the whole thing blaring
through the soundsystem of the 2nd hand CD shop while I was
bargain hunting)

I like "Songs For The Deaf" quite a bit. It's not as good
as some of their other stuff though. The radio bits are
just irritating but the songs themselves are actually very
good, especially "First It Giveth" and "Song For The Dead."

Songs For The Deaf is crap. It's got like 3 good songs. Get
the first one instead.

Good choice of songs there though LeCoeur... in case you
haven't heard it... download 'Space Cadet' by Kyuss - same
guitarist and it's a beautiful track.

DOWN WITH THE QUEENS LONG LIVE KYUSS!

All involved turned down a festival appearance three odd
years ago - and they were offered $500,000 for it. They'd
only do it if there was still good music in em, and while
Josh has been experimenting a lot with the Queens, most of
their good tracks could have fit on any Kyuss record. John
Garcia is being a bit bitchy towards Josh recently but
they're old mates so I can't see them being a problem. Which
bassist would they use? Nick is good but I think Scott
Reeder is even better, and they'd have to get Brant Bjork
back imo... it's not impossible. Depends how well the Queens
do with this record and how much they want to jam I guess...
