I imagine at least on person from this board will be a
signed demi-famous (think hellfish/kid606 level of fame)
musician/film maker/whatever. Imagine if this MB is still
around (or at least its contents are archived somewhere).
It'll be a huge resource for fans to find old posts by that
person. Imagine we had an equivalent thing now and knew what
name rich posted as...

It'll be nuts, like, "I knew Xanpha on the internet before
he was famous, I've even got a track of mine he remixed
somewhere or other..."

imagine if we all become famous
filmmakers/musicians/artists/cutural icons, and then all the
conversations here will be analysed

as it was/is the meeting of the genius minds!!

and people will study the conversations trying to learn more
about us and where we get our inspirations from! and the
whole world will turn into a "bill n ted" style place, with
"aphextwin.nu" being the catalyst for the revolution!!!!

dont ya think

"Hey, it could happen"

No, but if we meet up at ATP, I'll be sure to break into
your room and steal all your stuff then get obscenly rich by
selling it as "memrobilia" 10 years later :)

Seriously though, have you got your ticket sorted yet? Who
are you sharing a room with?

whats even weirder is that every person from this board will
probably walk right past someone they chatted with like
mates on the mb at some time and not even realise it. Or sit
next to them on a train. Or dance with them in a club. Or
talk to them at a bus-stop.... and never even know...

So from now on I'm gonna just ask every damn person i meet "
Hi ... are you a member Phobiazero's AFX board ? " that
should iron out the problem ;D

I was that guy that recommended you that CD in selectadisc
that turned out to be a pile of poo... whilst spilling your
drink; the drink you can't even remember having whilst there
(who would drink in a record shop ?) earthleakage thats who
! the chap who totally unannounced came up and pinched my
bottom and gave me a kiss.. was you !

thanks for that ... honey ;)
(Bang go my chances of ever seeing you again horseheaded
one)

I went to "The Bomb" in Nottingham last Friday .. not bad
music if a little too 'sorted for E's and whizz'; & the
Pitcher & Piano (good fun if a little corporate & sanitised)
and of course "The Trip" .. like a museum with an alcohol
licence> a good night out

there really aren't enough beggars in nottingham for my
liking, or big issue 'salesmen'.

oh, and let's bring back trams, that'll help the traffic
problems

oh, and lets have solar powered pay & display meters for all
the roads, which are really useful in the winter

i prefer more classy joints like rock city and the old angel
- they increase you chances of getting beaten up by around
50%

HA !!!

seems local politicians & councellors are doing a fine job
in Nottingham !
Always wondered why they wanted trams .....
perhaps to re-kindle the good ol' when days Forest were a
decent side

Brain Clough would sort the beggars out
"Come 'ere son, cut that hair, what are ye a bloomin woman ?
an if ye want te sell that big flamin issue , I suggest you
place some pictures of ME inside it ! You'll get nowhere
with that attitude .... (etc)"

don't laugh, it probably WAS his decision
a tram straight from his front door to his local for 45p
(OAP rates)

I know there are famous people here, but they're anonymous.
What I'm talking about is if we discovered in 20 years time
someone's (by then old) username. For example, if reflex
released music under his real name we would have to find out
that his real name tied in with the reflex username here.
