I use it at some times. What can I expect, it's the most popular break ever used in electronica today. The apache break is popular too, they use it a lot in breakbeats these days.

i used it from time to time when i started writting...
but now i find it old and overused, and i rather program my own beats...
However, I will say Squarepusher has used the Amen Break in a great way... he is the Amen Break Master... i consider it "his" in a sense.

When I use the Amen break, it has to be sliced and reproduced.

hm... forgot about apache.
I've been trying to use only drum loops I've never heard before cause, well jebus, we all know and in most cases loathe that amen break being overused. But admitably, it's great :D
It's just got to be chopped to shit for my liking.
oh but um, back to the original question, listen to Francakes on that page if you like - and I vow that will be the extent of my amen usage.
I got it out of my system :)

sweet - i personally just like the sound of actual (unless of course you're playing your own breaks on set and recording them - in which case, i salute you).
i am currently working on constructing a drum machine made primarily out of an old toaster, a tin can, 26 dwarf hamsters on a strict diet of alfalfa sprouts, amphetamines, and horse steroids, and anywhere from 3-6 pounds of chocolate pudding all hooked up to a car battery.
That, and I really need some sleep.

I actually seem to hear the "sketchy" break more...
and I find the "impeach the president" break sexier.
I also like the "tense" break.

amazing break, i imagine the first crate digger that found it probably shit his pants. but it tends to be overused... not so much these days though.
a few years ago it was in every dnb track made, and not creatively.
burning'n' tree: creative amen use in every track (nearly every track)
these days though people are taking it to new levels, but in all honesty.. how much of this 'one thing' can you take before you decide to scrap it...

Someone already mentioned this, but its the a track named "Amen Brother" by The Winstons.
...Just some obscure funk/soul group who spawned a virtually endless resource for electronic music composers with one 45...
They should like, sue techno or something.
