afterwards...

from what i understand, nir doesn't need any more donations
(though he's of course still accepting them), it's just a
problem caused by the web server (unrelated to him or even
soulseek).

but yea this is past ridiculous now, slsk seems to have a
lot of problems

I know his machine went the other day... I dunno, I hate to
think how hard that thing is to run...

Bobby De Niro is SO funny in that film. He should stick with
that rather than his latest efforts...

he will be taking them forever mainly becuase he has no job
at the moment nad he has no income.

he said it in a previous thread on this board. don't twist
my words, i said he's accepting them, he just isn't in a
crisis situation anymore (hence he doesn't NEED the $).
response has been good.

money than warp (eg: planet mu, skam, hefty, fuck...just
about all of them)

if you would all use Inverted Whale's openNap thingy, it
would be ok -- i went there half an hour ago and it was dead

Yeah it's strange - it would definitely tide us over until
soulseek returns. I've been very busy and can't be there
much these last few days, but it remains open for us to use.

Not exactly. The winmx program connects you to its own
sharing network, but also allows you to connect to opennap
servers. Opennap is what remains of the original Napster
network - there are around 100 public opennap servers in
operation.

The server I'm running is a private opennap server - winmx
is one way to connect to it, but there are about a dozen
other clients that you can use as well.

So there's really no connection between opennap and the
winmx network at all.
