I would like to see whether I am infected or not. What should I do? Whom should I consult?
If I got infected within the period that is less than 3 years, would results show the correct information?

yeah, inclubation period is 3 months or so....don't be afraid, it's less common than you think...
and your doctor or local Hosptical should be able to point you in the right direction..
I'm in a very high rise group and despie that I'm clean...but a test every few month is very wise...
pS AIDS& HIV are different a nd captured ealy you have a great chance of a much extended life...
HTH...good luck...

Thanks! My anti-body glands are not swollen, but 3 months have not passed yet. I am experiencing all the symptoms. I hope it is just some psychosomatic shit and that pinch I felt was not someone's needle.

apparently anything over a week should show, but anything over a month is a dead cert. Only a couple of days is not always long enough. Up to 3 years , then its gonna show for sure. Remember, its HIV they test for, AIDS is the bodily breakdown that can occur when HIV goes 'full-blown'.
What makes you think you might have it ? Heterosexual sex is a VERY rare transmission process. Homosexual penetration is slightly higher risk, but still very low.
Millions of people have one-night stands and then their mates say "Oh she's a slut, hope you didn't catch AIDS..." and its all bullshit.
Unless you been sharing needles with smack addicts regularly over the last 3 years, its unlikely you'll even need a test. But if it brings peace of mind, do it. If you're clean, you could even make it as a pornstar, which I know you'd love to do ( or is it just me ?) anyway take care and be safe :)

I am posting this because there has been talk about aids (plus the thing I feel inside me... like a thousant of monsquitos flowing trough my veins), and what was said on my previous post. It is more an act of instinct. But I think it would be wise to check myself in any way.

Are you talking about Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease ??
The thing could be some kind of anxiety dissorder. Maybe what I need is a shrink (I am quite serious about this).

Marlowe:)
For about two years as a kid I was convinced that 90% of the time i was on the verge of spontaneous human combustion.
And the flesh eating virus Ebola still seems a very real probability whenever I feel my skin twitch...
I guess its just the hypochondria playing up :)

I was tested about two years ago, it is not a nice experience. I turned out to be negative and it was a great relife. The counselling really prepares you for the worst.
If you are worried take the test, if you are positive it isn't the end of the world. I have friends who have full blown AIDS and have had it for more than five years. Thery can function fine they just have to be careful around people because a cold virus could kill them.

You'll get through whatever it is Monumrnt, you realize that life
is a constantly changing thing and every moment is what counts, you could die tommorrow and if it's not of your own making than it was supposed to happen at that time.
Just try and make the most wise decisions you can make using your intuition and stop thinking about this, it will pass and you will find that you are on your way to being a superhero like you always intended in the first place.

I'm constantly thinking I have cancer. Anytime my head hurts, my tummy hurts, my leg hurts, I automatically think ''here it is, you're about to die''. And of course I never do. :-/

Too much thinking can lead to problems in your body.
If you can't stop the random thoughts, a good dose of LSD will help ya.
it gets all of the thoughts out of the way by making you face each one of them individualy and then after you realize that they were all pointless,
you reach the no thought zone where everything is much more pleasant
and not disturbing but beautiful.
and then you don't need to do LSD or any other mind altering substance for a while or forever depending on
if you start meditating after that and understanding the art of no thought.
thanks for laughing Zephyr

I haven't been to a doctor in years... I have a DEBILITATING FEAR of anything medical. My mom used to drag me to them kicking and screaming, but now I'm bigger than her and she can't make me. :-p at my mom.
I probably have an alien growing inside my chest, but oh well.
