Anyone else like him? The songs Love Thing, Rasberry Jam
Delta-v, Time, Flying in a Blue Dream, Always With You
Always With Me, and well the majority of the Crystal Planet
album kicks ass!!!

maybe... I know he toured with Steve Vai, and they released
some live albums together... so they know each other, so
it's a possibility...

audiogalaxy is down and I don't have soulseek (I tried a
hundred times to make it work, but it won't).
I do have winmx, but that sucks...
This means I can't check any artists untill I found some
good p2p program

I'll try to find it on winmx anyway.

DUDE!!!!!!!!

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOM
GOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG

I was just listening to Crystal Planet at work just 2 hours
ago! I hadn't pulled that CD out in ages.

Awesome Funkmaster, glad to have more Satch fans here.
Satriani is my favorite guitar player ever. Hes so good and
fast. I saw him live when he came to town: kick ass show.

Time is one of my alltime favorite songs.

Have you heard his newest album: Engines of Creation? Its
very cool stuff, very original sounding. Its all these crazy
songs he wrote (mainly by himself) on the synth and computer
software. He got very few 'real' drum beats on that cd. But
track 4 has the drummer from Late Show w/letterman, I cant
think of his name right now.

I read that he taught Steve Vai also.

I used to have a video of a concert in Seville called
'Guitar Legends' that featured him, Vai, Nuno Bettencourt,
Brian May, Joe Walsh. It was sooo wank. I loved it at the
time of course.

I have been lucky enough to spend some time with Joe on a
few occasions. He is a wonderful musician that could be
appreciated by all music lovers, not just people interested
in guitar. His "Engines of Creation" recording is the most
similar to the modern electronic music that I would guess
most of you listen to. I recommend it. He did teach Steve
Vai, but this occured before Steve Vai attended the
Berkeley School. He also taught Larry LaLonde of Primus and
Charlie Hunter.

He is Bucket Head

Speaking of Buckethead, did anyone notice him sitting there
in that last Snoop Dog video? I almost fell off my chair
when I looked up and Bucket was sitting right there in a
Snoop video. Doesn't Snoop realize that Bucket could murder
him at any second? Maybe he is "the nigger with the biggest
sack."

Satriani is not Buckethead! Buckethead makes *good* music.

Haha, just kidding. I'm not a big Satriani fan, but I can
admit the guy has skills, I just don't like the product
