Does anyone know if Richard D. James himself actually appears in this video, or if it's all just people wearing a mask of his face. I mean, is the guy who does all the dancing and everything in the video Richard himself? Surely not..... |

lead dancer: Brian Friedman...yeah, the dancing def isn't him... but even if you look at the guy in the Limo, he looks like he's wearing a mask...(perhaps it's AFX behind the mask...)... And AFX looks somewhat "chunkier" than the guy in the limo... so dunno really...the credits say it's him but I'm not 100% convinced.... |

I love the video!!!! One of my alltime favourite music videos NO DOUBT!!! ITs NOT racist at all, its just brilliant!! :) Its not making fun of blacks at all, its just making fun of stereotypes (and stereotype commercial wack hip hop videos n r&b videos). I don't think Rich is in the video at all. The "Aphex as "Himself" is probably because they must have made that mask with his face as a model and that was probably not a plesan't excperiense for him. Kind of like a honury mention to him and a joke. But ofcourse im only guessing here , maybe thats not the way they make Latex masks at all ??? |
