got a free promo record with my Warp order today.

A track by Anti Pop Consortium called "Ghostlawns".
A: Original Version
AA1: Mike Ladd Mix
AA2: LFO Rik Waller Mix

And the mixes are VERY GOOD!!

Cool! I love both APC and LFO!!!

Where can I get that single?

I dunno!

I ordered two Venetian Snares records from WarpMart a week
ago and got an e-mail the next day saying they haven't got
the records, there was an error in their stock control
system.

So I complained and they promised to give me some promos
free with my next order.

So I got the Girl/Boy ep (which I've already got on CD) and
the APC 12" for free.

Result!

Couldn't find it anywhere in the Warp discography.

Yeah, they gave me a Jimi Tenor single for free when they
messed up my order.

I got the Two Lone Swordsmen 7" that normally comes with A
Bag Of Blue Sparks for free with my last order. Warp are so
nice.

A bag is pretty good for what's my opinion worth. It has
some breakbeat stuff on it that is pretty awesome.

I think A Bag of Blue Sparks is excellent, a mate of mine
has that and Stay Down on vinyl and they're both really
really good. Probably TLS's best releases. I'm not really a
fan of Tiny Reminders.

catalogue phunqie, it's only about 80 albums and 30 singles
and another 20 or so collaborations. Great music.

That LFO remix of APC (rik waller mix) is phat. I liked it
so much I asked Mark to remix my friends track (my friend is
a really big LFO fan) and he did! Mark is such a nice
fellow. And a hit with the ladies too...

yea who's your friend babydieonchord? he or she must've
already been a great musician for him to remix the track,
but you're right he is a really nice guy and the APC remix
is hella tight. how's the mike ladd mix?

The Mike Ladd remix is fine (reminds me of earlyish
Nightmares on Wax for some reason) but is overshadowed by
the LFO mix imo.

I am waiting for mark to post me the remix (I haven't heard
it yet) but it is for his (my friends) label. A double pack
of remixes. I am doing a remix for it too.

of phatbert's tracks - maybe you should sue him for using
your artist name? not that i've heard of any tracks my
"alone in the food hall of a large supermarket"
