fav record label? i think thats a stupid poll- there are
thousands of record labels, and thats a very small number to
choose from on your list....not to mention the fact that its
the people on those labels who count....i dont know of any
label where everyone on it is good or everyone is bad....i
dont see how anyone can like a specific record label best

he left out rawkus, but they're bad now.. glory days are
over. he also left out planet mu, matador, kranky, rock
action, nothing, coup d'etat, 75 ark, astralwerks, mo'wax,

oh fuck MCA. not their roster but them as a label. they're
giving NO SUPPORT to talib kweli and mos def's projects and
they're probably responsible for common and the roots'
albums being delayed too. i'm glad they let dj shadow put
his album out on time but they're really awful as a label
when it comes to rappers.
