xltronic -> this summer

the crew are working like hell on the project tho... there
are some major, time-consuming features which will be
implemented...

for your information:
chapman has joined the crew in the role as coder, next to
tune. in other words, we have two guys coding like
maniacs... :)

well even if watmm or xltronic is better than the other I
think I'll still frequent them both as the communities rock
with the exceptions of those people who hate the guts of
those on "the dark side" etc.

A lot of Joyrexers seem to think this site is full of crap,
a glorified chat room... jealousy, perhaps? This is one kick
ass little community.

This might have been discussed before here, but what they
hey. What is exactly going to be the difference between
watmm and xltronic ?
It seems so strange that both Joyrex as Phobia and Tune got
the idea for a multi-artist site (which is in itself bloody
excellent), but somehow it seems a bit like two different
parties working their socks on something that'll be 80%
about exactly the same things. Or did I miss out on
something ?

i take back my other comment, kinda, i was exlporing it, and
it was slow and some other little things bugged me, its
still cool, but im sure xltronic will rule all.

watmm.com barely has any links working, I'm not going to
pass judgement on it yet, not until it gets going. But that
four-artist setup is annoying.

watmm looks incredibly ambitious, but also terribly slow.
Huge backgrounds, an overload on information... my poor old
IE5 is struggling just to scroll a page.

I'm confident (eh, particularly hopefull) that xltronic will
be a bit more sober and less demanding on my ageing PC.
Good luck guys !

as the past and the present tells/told us, phob and tune
always had the ambition to have the site(s) in a slim,
nice-looking style but also filled with lots of info.

so, i totally agree with phob, you guys won't be
disappointed...

You are very fortunate to have so many people to help you
out Phobia...I'm sure xltronic will be kick-ass when it
launches.

Ophecks: It's not just four artists - those are just the
featured artists, and more will be added in the future.
WATMM will also cover general electronic music news as well,
so you'll get your daily does of electronic music
information.

a crew is def. needed since a lot of different skills are
required to build such large sites.

thanks for your support, joyrex. we both know what it takes
since we've been into this together since...... '99?

anyways... may the force be with us ALL.
