Marlowe's got some good hippie taste. I just listened to Not to Touch the Earth a couple seconds ago.
Jimi is cool. I always thought he was kind of overrated, but he's still amazing. Being overrated doesn't mean he didn't kick ass, he was awesome.

Hendrix had the craziest drummer to, Mitch Mitchel. Mitch wild drumming style really fitted Hendrix equally wild guitar skillz.
I heard he was a trained Jazz drummer before he met Hendrix.
I heard a live version of "Fire" that was so fast that it sounded like Jungle beats hehe!!

did hendrix tell mitch exactly how he wanted the percussion to be? isn't that why mitch left? or was that another drummer?

And michael Jackson invented the Banjo!!!
But the word "Heavy Metal" was first mentioned in a Hendrix consert review.
The reporter said that the music sounded like "heavy metal falling from the sky"

plenty of great artists did not use lsd. some people like to explore "altered states of being" and some do not. some of these people are artists. some use their expereince to delve deeper into their creative side and some use it to self-destruct... or both.

acid is generally safe depending on if the maker cuts it with strychnine or ether. Either one will work but you don't want to eat a ten strip of acid cut with fuckin rat poison. Trippin is stupid anyway. Drugs are fucking stupid. All they leave you with is a fucked up spine and a baked out nose.

i've never met any producer of acid who puts stychnine or ether in their product. i wouldn't be suprised if that had about as much validity as the rumor that pot makes men grow breasts. the outcome of acid use has just as much to do with the mindset of the user, how they feel about what they are getting into and how they feel in general, as the drug itself. i don't advocate using drugs, but i don't like misinformation. half the reason people let drugs ruin or deteriorate the quality of their life is because of the poor education on them. "drugs are bad and it's wrong to be curious." what the fuck do they expect with a message like that? the eleven hits thing was joke, btw.
