Anyone heard much by Simon? He's actually quite good.

I found a 12' on Ebay. But I want the CD of his album
reference. His label is DeFocus, but it's not up and
running, even though Reference was released in 2000.

I got like all his mp3's, but I want his recordings!

i actually bought reference a year ago and i returned it to
the store two days later... it didnt do it for me. if i
remember correctly, CiM sounds a bit plaid-ish.

no, the label site is not up and running, sorry if I didn't
make myself more clear.

Zombiekiev, I'd suggest downloading Lactate and
Coolair(Headspace Mix).

That suxs you didn't like it. I have all the songs from
reference on mp3 and like them alot.

you saw Simon in LA?? Lucky ass! I can't find any info on
him, other than a twenty questioner on an unofficial Jega
site.

spd - that was quite a drive for you! i went as well,
though my commute was a much shorter 3 minutes ;)

i asked john tejada about his set afterwards as my wife fell
in love with the last track he dropped - apparently
forthcoming on his new plug research cd though i haven't
come across any info on it yet. *very* plaid-like in its
polished, counterpoint drum programming & rich chords. i
hope album holds up to that track.

CiM was, of course, excellent. A reminder for those who may
have missed it: there's an mp3 up on defocus.co.uk from his
chicago leg of this recent tour...unless it's been removed
in the last week.

chicago was march 28th, too bad you missed it but you're in
luck: the 44mb mp3 of the gig is still up on CiM's own site
- www.warmdata.net

& a correction, it's:
www.defocusrecords.co.uk
...seems to work fine for me.
