IZ-US makes me cry. I love that song, it's just gorgeous.
that album's a good choice for beginners. that's what I cut my afx teeth on. next I think rdj or icbyd...though it's kinda delicate.

why the hell isn't iz-us on the vinyl version of come to daddy ?? that sucks soooo bad.
tell her to check out vordhosbn, flim, bucephalus bouncing ball and maybe xtal/tha (from the old-school). windowlicker is a guaranteed winner as well :o)

personally I would say stay away from SAWII immediately... I mean, it's not the most accessible album by far... at least for me... I'd saw something like SAW85-92, or I Care Because You Do, or maybe Come to Daddy...
