I Care Because You Do...

This album really is like a modern classical piece of music
isn't it? The Waxen Pith, Icct Hedral, Next Heap With, and
then the synth led tracks still have a real classical feel
to them...

I just listened to that whole album today in bed this
morning. Im sick so I thought to just lay and listen to
some stuff. ICBYD sounded good.

Acrid avid jam shred is my fav song. i love the melody so
much sorta half way through when that high pitched string
comes in and the whole melody flows. I learned it on my
keyboard. weeee. Im proud of myself :)

It's a very good album...it's very comforting to listen to,
like the RDJ album. A perfect mix of cool drums, strings,
and patented aphex weirdness...

It's timeless.

yeah, It has that old aphex feel to it...

none of that drukqs rubbish...

Rubbish. I like that word. Americans should use it more
often.

I think it's one of his best. Also fond memories for me
since it was the very first Aphex Twin CD I ever got.

on cow cud is a twin, you here two folklore samples when the
melody goes up and down....

ICBYD is one of his best work IMO

And also I get a feeling of childhood memories from the
album, mostly Mookid. Journey's to the country for me
atleast is really summed up in Mookid. And Alberto Balsalm's
metalic drumming makes me think of rural places, where we
visited while in the country, very happy memories. The album
is very special to me.

I think that all of the albums have their highlights...I've
been asked several times to pick a favourite but it's
impossible! I think that the best track on this one is
ventolin.

I Care Because You Do rocks! The only track I ever skip is
"Come on, you slags!" I'd still say as a whole the album is
fantastic! Richard did a really marvelous job on that one!

ICBYD has been my favorite album since the first time I
heard it. It really does seen like classical music for the
21st century, I love Acrid Avid Jamshred, Start as you mean
to go on, Alberto Balsalm, Wax the Nip, Mookid... fuck I
like em all!

P.S. I don't like Ventolin.

Yeah, I love his use of strings on that album. Wax the Nip
always knocks me out, and Next Heap With is fucking
underrated.

Every track is pretty decent, even Ventolin. I don't really
skip over anything... some of the tracks could be a little
shorter, though.
