You know what it means to look at the object in front of yourself. Please do that. Focus on it attentively. Then turn your gaze away from the external object and invert your gaze so that you look 'inside'. Now describe what you see. Thanks :) |

I can't really do that via pure intuition because there has been no selective pressure on my species to truly know what's going on within. At best I can imagine the within, based on echoes of my experience of the without. That's why we tend to imagine a little me inside the big me - a little man in the cartesian theatre. |
